Jim is responsible for two divisions at MRI Cedar Rapids. He leads both the information technology and construction teams focused primarily in the Midwest.
Jim's relationships are the key to his success. His proprietary network of professionals is the result of years of relationship and trust building.
With more than 15 years in construction and IT, Jim is committed to assisting key firms and star players find the right match at the right time. Not content being a vendor, he excels in listening to his clients' needs and bringing value in ways such as market intelligence, competitive surveys, retention planning and forecasting.
Jim's sphere of influence extends from entry level positions to presidents of companies. Jim has earned the Management Recruiter's Pacesetter award, ranking him in the top 5% of recruiters worldwide working largely through professional referrals.
Jim attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a BA in Economics. He has been married for 15 years and has two great children. Outside the office, Jim involves himself with local school organizations. His hobbies include remodeling and furniture building.
In 2009, Jim was recognized by MRINetwork™ for completing industry certification as a Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM). This certification distinguishes the combination of experience, the highest of ethical practices in executive search, demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, industry best practices and search methodology.
